She has won 3 Show Championships and 2 Reserve Championships during WEF 2024 with only riding in a total of 5 shows this season. (And season isn't over yet!) Update: What a season for Casey! She placed high and/or won on all three of her hunter horses for most of the winter season HITS season in Ocala 2024! Congrats, Casey! She wrote, "I had another Rockstar day! I won all three classes this morning with my three horses in the adult equitation. Then I won the Ariat with an 85. Then I prepped my mom's horse, and she won both her trips in the pre-adults!" 


The following week, Casey wrote: "What an insane day with 6th in the $10,000 USHJA derby in the stadium! In the jumper ring, he got an 84 out of an amazing field of horses. Plus, my mom won her derby again today. Her first round was a 91! I'm just so happy with our growth in such a short time. This time last year, I was making dangerous decisions at distances and causing my horses not to trust me. Thanks for everything you've done for me and my horses!"

This year riding has been the most successful year I’ve ever had and at the highest level competitively. For the 28 classes I jumped in total, I finished in the top 3 9 times or 30% of the time - which we all know for jumpers is quite a high percentage!  

It all started in Florida when I won classes every week including my first high child/adult classic- a special night class version no less! The successes continued throughout the year with highlights being 3rd at Devon, and ribboning at capital challenge and WIHS. After we started coaching, I was able to overcome my first day desperate mentality where I would be mechanical and trying too hard to force everything. Walking into indoors was such an amazing feeling on the first day being in the best mindset compared to being at Devon where it took me mistakes in the first two classes to get mad at myself and get into that best mindset by the 3rd class. I am SO excited to see what we will be able to accomplish this next year!

Before we started coaching, I would let the outcome of things define how I felt about myself. I would spiral to the point of thinking I was a terrible rider from one rail in a class or one mistake. This would take a huge toll on me emotionally and mentality and the strong negative feelings would linger for days. Now - my foundation of self belief is so strong and I have learned to embrace the mistakes and to get better quickly for the next class. This has allowed me to have more joy at horse shows and enjoy some amazing memories with friends even if my outcome wasn’t the win I was planning on achieving.


This coaching and the techniques and tools have truly changed everything in my life. Traveling for work used to trigger me feeling overwhelmed and stressed before a show - plus the “why can’t I be a rich amateur with no job” victim mindset. Now it makes me feel organized and already locked in, moving & grooving! It’s insane how much this simple program has changed everything - stuck in traffic, someone texting me right before I’m going in the ring, my posted order in the class, it applies to everything!!! It’s so easy now to find a positive empowering outlook for anything thrown at me. I have found ways to apply this mindset multiple times a day and it has brought so much more joy and empowerment to my life and especially my riding.

Sophia Gremley, was Division Champion as well for WEF6. She won the $1,500 1.30m Amateur Jumper and then in the pouring rain, she placed 4th in the $10,000 1.35, Amateur Jumper classic.

#1 Challenge – lacking the mindset to ride with confidence, determination and the winning mindset
#2 Challenge – feeling chaotic in my professional life

The #1 challenge that brought me to Nancy's coaching program was the wall I had hit with my riding in late summer 2023. I had progressed to competing in the 3 foot Adult Hunters and for over a year I had some solid rounds. Then I started stopping in the ring here and there. I went from getting a score of 80 in Lake Placid (my personal best) to the next week getting excused. My Trainer was so frustrated that she had to walk away from me in the schooling area. It was mortifying on many levels. We headed to Saugerties next and again I was excused from the ring due to refusals. My peers were watching, my long-time veterinarian happened to be ringside whom I deeply admire, I once again embarrassed my Trainer, but most importantly, I had let my horse and myself down horribly. I knew I had arrived at that pivotal point where "trying" to fix it just wasn't good enough. I couldn't execute what my long-time talented Trainer was trying to tell me. I was no longer going to walk away from a competition with inconsistent, abysmal results. I needed a professional, kick-ass mental skills coach and I wasn't going to stop until I found the right person.

The other challenge I was facing at the time was the disappointing results in my business. Though my partner and I had set down some aggressive revenue and profitability goals for 2023, by September, we knew we were going to fall far short on both. I wanted to reset my own efforts on how to maximize results in that area of my life as well and hit my professional AND riding goals NOW.

I was embarrassed, distraught, sad, disheartened, ashamed actually. I have been competing in the Hunter/Jumpers for over 20 years and I was regressing, horribly. All the time, effort, money going into this hugely important part of my life was so frustrating. I wasn't sleeping. I was irritable. Actually I was disgusted with myself and beating myself up constantly. At work I was discouraged and looking to others more than myself as to what wasn't working. I felt ineffective and mediocre as a leader. I couldn’t remember another time in my life when I was as dissatisfied with two extremely important facets of my life: riding and career.

That second weekend in September 2023 in Saugerties. Nothing I had tried was making a difference. In fact my performance was getting worse. I had to stop the downward spiral and TURN IT AROUND. Not only did I want to stop the refusals, I wanted to WIN and I knew I was very far from that. Though I wasn't focused on finding a coach for my business role, after the first session I knew the program would be transformative to this important area of my life as well.

I still remember my first session. I remember how vehemently I screamed "Yes, Yes, Yes!" I couldn't wait to get to my next sessions (and still look forward to them each week) to spend the dedicated time out of the saddle focusing on my riding. I welcome the direct feedback. I welcome the new rituals. I have enjoyed listening to the audios on my app in between sessions, while I'm mucking, driving to the show and whenever I can. I am committed to being a student of focus, continuing to strengthen my ability to refuse distraction. I want to be pushed. I want to be challenged. I want to be called out on my bullsh*t and that is exactly what happens each session. But far more importantly, I’m learning how I can call myself out. I have the tools now to identify my old rider identity and HALT in order to start thinking and behaving with that winning mindset. Though I haven't come home with the blue ribbon yet, I know I can. I know I will. Last weekend in March 2024 was my BEST weekend of the entire circuit. After sticking to my pre-show ritual step by step and going into the ring knowing I would absolutely without a doubt riding with that Winning Strategic Pace I came away from the weekend with the BEST results yet.

I am no longer so nervous at the in-gate that I want to vomit! I don't wake up the morning of show day wondering why I do this. I no longer panic when I see I have to wait all day until I show. I'm no longer "relieved" when the show is over. In fact, I am more excited than I ever have been with competing. To say I'm more confident is a laughable understatement. I AM AN EQUESTRIAN ROCKSTAR and I'm thrilled with how I have turned my trajectory around 180 degrees and there is NO DOUBT in my mind that I will win and continue to win with dedication, commitment, focus, gratitude and JOY. I have found a system, a mindset that I can apply to every area of my life. With focus, comes energy. With energy and rigor I can accomplish anything I want!

In terms of my business, my partner and I have instituted new metrics and KPIs to evaluate our progress towards our 2024 goals. My coaching program has helped me better focus when I'm at work, utilizing time blocking better than I ever have and I feel far more in control of the results in my business than I did pre-coaching. I feel proud of my resourcefulness in finding Nancy Dye, in being able to make the financial and time commitment to the program, and for my determination in not allowing mediocrity to be present anywhere in my life. I now have real strategies to stop my old mental habits of self-sabotage and destruction. I feel energized, powerful, in control and elated with my successes.

I have referred two of my riding colleagues to Nancy and both have shared how thrilled they are so early in the coaching program. It makes me feel like I’m paying it back in referring such a powerful resource to others that have decided they want to achieve their riding goals and they want the BEST.
