If we build emotional strength, resiliency, and learn to program our brains! This way, we don't volunteer to become victims of other people rescuing us and selling us on a losing strategy to stay stuck in a weak mindset with the belief and story that we are fragile, easily unseated, and need protection.
Children need protection by others. Empowered adults do not.
Empowered adults can choose to not be emotionally triggered. They have the mental skills to be unflappable. THAT is their safe space!
Yes, life and people can throw the punches. Accept the fact that they will. But WE can decide to control the emotional impact it has on us! (If any at all!) They can’t land a punch unless we allow it.
Remember “Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me?” Still true. Our culture just don’t teach it anymore.
Take back control in 2024!
We can focus on trying to control what other people are saying and doing with their language and actions, which is a powerful feeling but ultimately an exercise in the futility of sweeping back the tide ...
Or we can generate REAL power and lasting results by learning the mental skills techniques to control our own thoughts and actions as proven with neuroscience.
